About me

I was studying computer science at the Vienna university of technology. During this time I was mainly interested in operating systems, computer languages, distributed systems, real time systems, databases. (in that order).

My first full time job was at CUBiT where I was doing everything which involves Linux in some way. Probabely the most outstanding thing was that I was allowed to continue to work on DRBD if no other projects where available.

Currently I am working at LINBIT. Actually I am a co founder of that company and I am in the position of a CEO currently. It is a great challange and we have a lot of fun in the progess! In case you are looking for professional Linux or DRBD services, LINBIT is the right partner for you.

I am involved with...

• Mergemem is an add-on to the Linux kernel which may reduce the memory usage of you application set.
• Webtree is a KDE Application for mirroring web-sites. (Not longer maintained)
• gspci40 is an device driver for ttp/c communication controllers form TTTech for Linux 2.2.x. download.
• drbd is a block device for shared-nothing HA clustering.

Sometimes I build rpms for software that is not jet available in as RPM.
